Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Company doesn’t value sales. Veritiv is way too top heavy and has too much corporate staff in GA. The important people like buyers and people to process invoices are minimal. All activity to get and order and get paid as 100% commission rep falls on the rep t

What are some of the best things about your team?
Our sales team is very dedicated and our sales managers are very hard working but they need high levels of approval to get anything done which hurts us in the market with customers

Everyone is responsible for creating the culture and positive attitude of the company. For the top to the bottom.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Lose the red tape and quit reducing sales commissions as a way to be profitable. A Commission rep only gets commission no other benefits the gas, expenses to do things for customers, work tools(cell phone) etc are all on us while Corporate has meetings and spends on them.

That my efforts are making a positive difference within the company and with all the people I interact with through out the day!

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
All the work to get order, keep customers, get bills paid, have stock on floor etc all falls on sales and when another department screws up it falls on sales to fix. Very inefficient
