HubSpot used to be great. The layoffs felt very poorly managed and most felt lied to. Since then it is impossible to make any career moves, metrics have shifted to drive people out. I call it managing down rather than coaching up. Coach for success, not to avoid failure. Easy concept.
Not much these days. Unreasonable expectations, no room for error, subjective metrics that can be perfect one day and crap the next.
We all clearly care about each other and are willing to help one another. Something I can't say for management or executive leadership.
We do the absolute most any time management makes a change, and get nothing in return. No thanks, if anything we somehow still did something wrong.
The combination of benefits. It is honestly almost all encompassing and most benefits have at least a couple of options. I think it is a very fair compensation package
Within my specific team we all care about each other and do everything we can to make work as enjoyable a place to show up to as possible. No one is afraid to ask for help and other members will always come to their aid
Helping my coworkers and friends to do their best work. As a customer facing employee I do enjoy when the customer gets to learn something new or take advantage of something they didn't know about but to be frank customers can be awful sometimes, coworkers always appreciate the help.
Unreal standards. No empathy from management. Managers not willing to do any work and it's somehow our fault when they fail at their job. Not to mention they're the hardest people to get ahold of. Don't tell us to reach out for support and then be MIA for 7 hours
