Transparency into the business and openness. They don't internalize stress or ruminate in it. They're very good at controlling what they can control and thoughtfully monitoring the rest.

Pay all departments competitively. Consider paying for additional skills acquired through formal accredited higher education. Why offer tuition reimbursement if you flat out say you don't want to compensate employees for the additional knowledge they gain?

These are some smart people. I've never worked with folks who are this intelligent and have the intuition for problem solving that they do. They're kind people, too. I can't think of an experience off-hand with a teammate or anyone in the company that made me feel insignificant or not included.

I have been at the company for 1.5 years and have added several responsibilities onto my plate. I've done a project that resulted in the creation of a new role on the team. I'm recognized as a leader & expert on the team and my contributions are valued, but that is not reflected in my compensation.
