It was amazing when I initially started but now I feel a bit disillusioned. Ideas that are shared are told to wait until next year, clear development plans have not been set for me, and I see my friends/peers leaving the company and that makes me incredibly sad to see. I really want to be here.
Interacting with others and customers as they get super excited about our company.
They are some pretty amazing and supportive people on my team. It makes me want to come into work.
Everyone is super friendly and takes time to connect with you, whether via a coffee chat or a brainstorming session.
I really appreciate Leadership and their goals but I don't think it trickles down well to middle management as I would like.
I absolutely love the fact that not only can I receive equity but I can also purchase RSU's through a plan that takes it out of my check.
The fact that they share information and tips. I've been places previously that would make everyone reinvent the wheel for threat of someone getting a one up over them.
They listen to feedback and provide transparency. If they have a solution then they say that. If it's not possible or there's a delay, they tell us that too.
People really want to solve and make the company better. It's just that I noticed people are sharing ideas and sometimes middle management will listen but never act on it.
It's hard when you know what others are making or have friends that are applying and you learn what they're being offered. I know we have a small team of three people but at some point we have to move past that.
I can work autonomously and around a schedule that works best for me. I know I'll complete the tasks given to me and I don't feel pressured to have to do everything within seconds of receiving it. I can strategize and explore for the best options.
