My time here has been challenging (in a good way) and I've learned a ton. I enjoy working with my colleagues and feel that we are aligned in our mission and goals. Over the years I've had ups and downs in my feelings about work, but that's normal. It's all relative, and overall I'm very happy here.
What makes you most happy at work?
When my team does well and makes progress towards our goals by meeting the milestones we set for ourselves.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Inclusivity. I feel there's a lot of effort made to make everyone comfortable at work so they can be their best selves.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is really close. We often eat lunch together just because we like to (I've not had that before, even on other teams at HubSpot). We're supportive of one another and genuinely care about the work we do.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I really appreciate their transparency in sharing goals, setbacks, and thoughts in general. It helps me to connect the work I'm doing with my team to what we're working towards as a company, and makes it all feel connected. I feel that my colleagues and I are trusted.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Does flexibility count as part of the package? I most appreciate the fact that I can work from home when I need to and am trusted to take vacation without needing to count the days. The fact that I don't have "punch in/out" is refreshing. My team trusts that I will do my work, and vice versa.
