Lots of perks and benefits but at times we give individuals too much freedom and flexibility which leads to a sense of entitlement. Feedback giving in the name of transparency is well and good but the type of candour feedback can be borderline belittling and mean.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Other managers undermining my approach to my team. By reaching out to the individuals on my team this creates a another layer of toxicity.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
In markets that have smaller teams, it requires more effort navigating changes that are coming top down. At time it can feel like you are stuck in the middle without much levers to work with so you do your best. Because the effort/work does not match with compensation it lead to being undervalued.
