What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Providing enough staff to be able to treat patients better. The assignments are often too heavy and lead to poor care simply because there are not enough minutes in the shift.

Better staffing ratios. More pay to attacked experienced staff. Many off the chaplin's have quit do to feeling over worked and mgmt has refused to hire more and even changed their schedule without the staffs permission.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Better coverage of health benefits would be good. Even if they provided a steep discount to providers in their system only that would help. We deal with people at their sickest. Help us when we fall ill from doing that.

I personally know ppl in the same position at other healthcare systems in central ohio that make more even after the "raises" to get us to market value.

To work in the health Industry our medical plan is outrageous. I feel that as a medical professional, I should have some discounted rate.

My core team is reliable.

When they are succinct and too the point, giving all needed information without fluff. Some charge RNs are very skilled at this.

What did you like most about the interview process?
Once it began it moved quickly.

My screening interview was conducted by phone and then I had 2 interviews with the group of physicians I would be working with. We worked around patient care time for all of us.

Helping patients when they are at their worst, helping them navigate a serious illness and find hope.
