I came in as a consultant and was hired a month later as a full time senior developer. I have won employee of the quarter, headed multiple projects, and applied for other departments but am still in the same position and department as 3 years and 6 months ago.

Support for learning and trying new things.

I have achievable but still difficult goals.

Transparency. The townhalls are a good communication between them and the general employees.

We don't want people to come in sick or burned out. We ask, often beg, people to stay home if they don't feel well.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Additional mini-bonuses or payouts for things like keeping healthy or completing the "win-as-one". They help boost us over our person budgets to do more in our free time.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are all friends. We know and care about each other and support each other. We also try to strengthen each other via learning sessions each week or even impromptu if appropriate.
