I feel undervalued because I am a neighborhood expert and I'm getting paid the same as our new hires

Seems like there is favorites being played. Some will get 100 hours a pay period, while others only get 50-60 hours per pay period

It is a very stressful environment that creates a great deal of anxiety for me. The coworkers do not help because they pretend to be friendly but then they trash everyone behind their backs.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Scheduling is beyond a problem, theres 20+ front of house employees, and maybe 8 back of house/kitchen employees. Days when another cook or 2 would be very helpful, they are sent home early due to labor percentage costs, only to bring more of a work load on the employees that are still working.
