Their ability for leadership to help prioritize the ability to battle fires in a professional manner with streamlined coordination and communication. Their leadership is key to bringing the team together and knocking out the issue quickly and efficiently.

Compassionate leadership exists throughout Bell. The management at Bell will work with you as if you are a long term investment person. We all experience personal or family issues that need to be addressed. Bell is excellent in this regard.

Clarity of purpose and intent (from my EVP)

they are engaged with employees.

Down to earth and not robotic.
Review from Engineering Dept
Get back to the fundamentals of warfighter focus, quality products, and filling positions with the right people for the job rather than trying to compile metrics that appease the current woke cause du jour.
Review from Engineering Dept
Leadership needs to better empower employees for making their own decisions, train employees for roles they expect them to fulfill, and overall give better guidance to employees.
Review from Engineering Dept
Understand what are the important elements of work life that matter to their employees.

Accountability at the leadership level

In fact, I just submitted my resignation today. Typical "good old boys hunt club" with no interest in investing in women or embracing core values.

401k with great vacancy & PTO.
Review from Engineering Dept
Fair salary compared to other similar industries in the area.

It seems pretty reasonable to me
Review from Engineering Dept
My annual bonus and annual salary.

The DFW aviation/rotorcraft market is far ahead of Bell in terms of compensation, benefits, work from home, and career paths for progression. Bell seems to be about 2 generations behind the industry curve. Not a good thing to be showing the world when we just won the largest Army program to-date.
Review from Engineering Dept
better health benefits and need gym membership
Review from Engineering Dept
Free time is more valuable than money. WFH should be an option for top performers.
Review from Engineering Dept
Have comparable compensation to Pantex (Amarillo TX). We loose a lot of talented people to them.
Review from Engineering Dept
I feel valued by my management, but the pay does not keep up. The prices of everything in this economy continue increasing and pay adjustments are but once a year. It's less noticeable for those without families, but I have a wife and four kids. Also, the work I perform is higher than my position.
Review from Engineering Dept
Some of the nice and ease people to work with.
Review from Engineering Dept
We all respect each other.
Review from Engineering Dept
Variations in strengths, some are better tech writers than others, some are better hands-on workers and others are very experienced and knowledgeable in specifications and aircraft certifications.
Review from Engineering Dept
Generally talented, interested and motivated
Review from Engineering Dept
They are friendly, supportive, positive, and a pleasure to be around.
Review from Engineering Dept
I would like them to improve on keeping better documentation of work done in the past to help with updates that need to be performed later.
Review from Engineering Dept
More collaboration within projects. There are people who have the knowledge but don't want to share it.
Review from Engineering Dept
fair conversations with no arguments
Review from Engineering Dept
Better communication skills and direct conversations
Review from Engineering Dept
Too much gossip going on along with online meetings being held at their cubicle.
Review from Engineering Dept
Easy going people to work for and with.
Review from Engineering Dept
Everyone's ability to help each other and build each other up.

The most overlooked feature about Bell is its Tech Fellow system which has the power and authority to break silos (individual program needs or schedules), to do the right thing. Having a Tech Fellow System ensures Bell will never have a whistle blower incident.

Getting to lead a team I like working on things I care about
Review from Engineering Dept
People are happy to be at work and to engage socially with others. They enjoy collaborating with others. I don't see or experience much conflict among personnel.
Review from Engineering Dept
Current office conditions for our group are worse than a supply shack at a Texas state park. One of the remaining areas to be renovated. Having been told a move is imminent 18 months ago, it now appears we are a forgotten group.
Review from Engineering Dept
More work needed to sustain until v280
Review from Engineering Dept
need more quiet work areas in the office
Review from Engineering Dept
stop rushing the delivery schedule

Accountability for senior leaders. The blame or consequences tend to fall on the individual contributor.

Interview with a team of Eng. Also the manger.
Review from Engineering Dept
There was only one interview with the hiring manager, I didn't have to do multiple interviews
Review from Engineering Dept
Interviewers took the time to fully understand what type of job and responsibilities I was seeking. They clearly explained what I would be doing and the company structure.
Review from Engineering Dept
Ultimately, I got the job.
Review from Engineering Dept
The questions asked about the interviewers were thought provoking and seemed to be more about who I am as a person than if I had the technical skills to perform the job.
Review from Engineering Dept
There aren't any Interviews reviews of Bell yet.

Review from Engineering Dept
successful things and happy people
Review from Engineering Dept
Too many folks seem happy to continue to operate as they have done for the last 10-15 years rather than exploring new and more efficient methods / processes / technologies to streamline a business function without sacrificing quality - contracts and supplier contracts management teams take note.

I am on a project that has a short life span
Review from Engineering Dept
10 hour work days are too long. our bodies are built for a 24 hr schedule so why push 40 hours sooner
Review from Engineering Dept
Become insistent that leaders and managers embrace and practice ethics.
Review from Engineering Dept
Lack of consistency and continual rework due to changing minds and perceptions resulting from this leads to fatigue, boredom, and a sense that expectations can never be met. Moreover, it leads to a situation where there is lower confidence that requirements can be met and business objectives achieve

They offer Education Assistance to pay for my graduate degree.
Review from Engineering Dept
Company Culture is to maintain authority in a pyramid structure, with very little authority given to lower level management and individual contributors. The pyramid should be flattened, and all employees empowered to make more decisions, and then held responsible for those outcomes.
