What do you like best about the leadership team?
They encourage growth and lead by example to create a great work environment

My team is the kitchen area so it's pretty separate from regular hotel operations but it doesn't feel like a bad thing and the leadership does well with integrating the employees in terms of having family meals and things like that

The managers NEVER tell about big events weel in advance, only until the day of.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
The healtcare plan is the best part

It's broad. There's the usual benefits but because we work at a hotel there's small things that you wouldn't think of. During the ice storm they allowed us to stay in a room if needed because it wasn't safe to drive home.

No benefits unless you choose to work like a bull or horse.

The team inwork with is a very cohesive unit that communicates very well

Everyone's super friendly and respectful and helpful. I haven't been here long but I definitely plan to. The size of the team is manageable and again everyone's great

Employees clique too easily, and are disrespectful to one another

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive is the team has a common goal and uplifts eachother to reach said gosl

It actually feels like this company is a little community of its own and it's not too demanding. I think the culture of this hotel, from guests to the workers, is a lot about security and comfort and connection rather than a purely service model. It's service with a smile because it's genuine.

Getting to create grwat experiences for the guests and continuing to grow in my careee

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Better communication between staff members, ALL of them. Better benefits for even those that work less. And the company could be less cheap with its labor.
