Whilst I have no idea what they do day-to-day, they lead Elsevier positively and in the right direction commercially -- which is to all of our benefits.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There is very little concrete evidence to assure Elsevier employees that they are paid *above* an industry average. If you pay an average wage then you should expect average employees. If you pay fantastically then you will attract fantastic talent. And we generally don't.
