As a new employee of about six weeks, I am very impressed with the culture initiatives and values of Elsevier. This company has extremely high tenure. My manager and department are wonderfully supportive and encouraging. I couldn't ask for a better team.

Learning, interacting with health and medical professionals, knowing our publications are making a difference in the advancement of science.

They are clearly invested in the well-being of Elsevier employees and strive to create a supportive and inclusive culture recognizing diversity.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
They diversity and inclusion programs. How virtually connected everyone is, even with remote work and worldwide employees in various time zones.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Starting salary is low for the cost of living in my area and I am not aware of programs to correct for this annually. Merit increased are capped at low amounts.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are very dialed in to the health and well-being of their employees. They talk the talk and walk the walk in their devotion to diversity and inclusion. So proud to be a part of Elsevier!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay does not currently reflect market value averages. And raise percentages are not in line with inflation at this time. I hope the company will make cost of living adjustments to accommodate today's worldwide financial issues.
