Flexibility and being able to work with a very friendly team which nurtures you and respects your abilities and knowledge.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would feel better if they would pay fairly based on my role and the work I do and not fix the salary based on the salary I drew in my previous employment.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Positive and flexible team where I am encouraged to discuss everything related to work openly. Work related resources are shared freely and transparently. The team being multi-cultural, spread over the globe makes it very interesting.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel my salary was fixed based on my earlier position which is in a totally a different field, and I did not have any idea of what this job entails and now after working I feel I should get a better compensation.

I came into publishing from a completely different background. I feel the salary was fixed based on salary I got in my previous job and not based on the position I was taking up here. After understanding the role and its responsibilities, I feel I should get a slightly better compensation.
