Very satisfying. I joined my team as a result of a department-wide reorganization. If not for the reorg, I would never have known about my current role, and my current role has been very challenging and rewarding. My work is always interesting, but what I like best is the diversity of our team!

My work is challenging, and the end results help my colleagues, both in marketing and sales, to meet their needs.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Empathetic; active listeners; flexible; and committed to employees, customers and the industry at large. I admire their commitments to SDGs and how we as a company can work towards an improved environment.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My immediate team is wonderful--they are creative, committed and intelligence, and I learn something from them everyday. We are all from different countries, and it's such a blessing to be able to call them colleagues and friends.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I've been a customer or have worked at a competitor to Elsevier for over 25 years. In the past, Elsevier's culture was marked by arrogance and machismo--very male-dominated. I am especially proud of the influx of working moms in leadership positions as well as a commitment to upholding diversity.
