It will be great if Elsevier starts setting the standards rather than comparing with the current market

I feel like the company needs to set the market standard for packages rather than always stating that 'we are paid as per local market packages'
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We keep comparing with other companies for the market standard instead of setting our own standards. Also, there is no consideration when inflation takes place and prices of everything increase.
