I feel that Elsevier is a very good place to work. It has a good work life balance. Colleagues are easy to approach but I believe it would have been worthy if the interaction among the colleagues other than your team members could have been improved further by giving some mixed team activities.

There should be a fair pay bands for each level which should be revised each year according to the workload and cost of living in diffrent places. Bonuses should be paid to the talents.

My manager is quite supportive,understanding , friendly, easy to approach and is guiding me in every step. This is one of the thing which motivates me a lot to work hard and achieve the goals.
What makes you most happy at work?
A sucessful day at work ie, when I can see that slowly I am progressing which is ultimately contributing to my portfolio growth and at the end when I can see happy authors and happy editors. On the whole when I can sense that I am inching towards contributing to open science, it makes my day.
