Overall good but my main concern is lower pay and pay progression than competitors and that set targets cannot be achieved as they do not account for things out of our control (quality of submissions and extensions requested by authors)

Group activities and get togethers, celebration of different cultures/ events.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Higher pay, it's not competitive. I don't like that some people with the same job are on a bonus system and some are not, this leads to pay discrepancy in circumstances where the bonus is not paid out (incomplete financial year when starting/ leaving) and less pension contributions or % pay rise.
