I have had a good experience with the company, I have been employed by Elsevier for less than a year and the learning process was challenging - I think I am starting to feel more established but I have found it difficult to feel like I am good at my job. Company is great, I am getting there.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I enjoy a good rate of pay, and the discounts for things like Puregym that save me money every month.
What makes you most happy at work?
The feeling of peace and accomplishment when I have completed all of my tasks and my inbox is empty - it is a rare joy but it is wonderful when it comes around.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is very open to discussion, there's no such thing as a silly question. There is a good mix of experience and everyone is happy to share and help out when anyone is in a bind.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are very welcoming and calm, which is very reassuring so I am comfortable to go to them with problems - even if I am at fault I know they will not reprimand me but rather focus on learning from mistakes and finding a workable solution.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is a genuinely nice person, when I spend time at the office I know if I interact with anyone it will be a good experience. Plus, everyone understands the varying demands of the job so if I need to keep my head down and power through no one thinks it is anti-social or rude.
