Elsevier – I've been here less than a year and the learning curve is long/gradual. The portfolio of solutions is complex, home-grown or acquired, and our customer needs are diverse. However, I trust leadership to make data-driven decisions and invest in opportunities. I trust my peers to help build the future. | Comparably

What makes you most happy at work?

Building experiences that delight our customers

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Attractive 401K match, ability to purchase PTO (which is already generous), HSA contributions

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Considerable PTO (with option to purchase up to 5 additional days) and 401K match

What are some of the best things about your team?

Creative, communicative, supportive - it feels like we're on the same team, swimming in the same boat.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I have never worked at an org with such a transparent and communicative leadership team. All Hands where slides are shared, Ask-Me-Anything sessions and weekly Fridays at 5 emails from our president, and frequent surveys to reflect opportunities and challenges; all reflect shared goals and care.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I have rarely run into anyone with an oversized ego. Most colleagues are more than willing to hop in with support to take an idea to the next level, offer perspective that may improve the work product, and more. For a remote company, I feel comfortable reaching out for support.
