My experience is overall positive. I like the work and the people I work with. I value the relative flexibility and the work-life balance. I am not happy with the lack of career progression (and lack of information), as well as the recent layoffs (Jul25 and Dec25 for different disciplines).

What are some of the best things about your team?
My immediate team is kind, supportive and respectful. People are motivated to build together and learn from each other instead of competing. (I'm not sure that applied to all team in Elsevier in general, though)
