I'd like to see a discount gym membership and more social activity encouraged in some of the offices

They do what they say, lots of companies 'talk the talk' but Elsevier actually deliver in what they believe :)

The flexibility of the working, employees are trusted to work from wherever and whenever they like (within reason obviously)

I feel the compensation could be more competitive but this is balanced against the flexibility I have in my role

The culture here is very much team focussed and I know I can count on any of my team for support

I've had no promotion in 6 years. no talk of career development or working towards it, just more and more targets to hit

They communicate clearly the vision for the business and really listen to the concerns of employees. This has been particularly evident during the pandemic
