I love working here and hope to be with Elsevier for a long time. I don't agree with the career paths for my job so I've taken the journey to find out what more is there and what more i can do for Elsevier and RELX.

I love Elsevier. It's a company of passionate, supportive, interesting, inviting, wonderful people. These passed couple of years have made me feel more like I'm working for a big family rather than a giant, mindless corporation.

Elsevier has provided me with meaningful work, a paycheck, job security, and time for personal growth. If you know where to look there is a lot on offer.

Ticking off emails and working on projects

Very supportive and willing to help when needed

Flex time and the ability to work from home (which I hope the continue).

We've been together a long time and it's really like an extended family for me.

Getting things done but also interacting with my peers and my customers. There is joy in the day.

I know who they are and they are willing to share themselves - they are very accessible and relatable.

Doing my job and working on projects outside my regular job - like MindLife, Connect to Communicate, and others.

We are very supportive of one another, we feel safe in expressing challenges, and we aren't afraid to ask questions.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are willing to share their lives and show up as real people - not abstract leaders we only hear about.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I'm working from home, so the environment is excellent! But the culture of mutual support and understanding makes the environment special.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The San Diego office was small and mighty and we all knew each other. It was an extended family and has always been welcoming and supportive.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I know who they are! Kumsal changed the culture and helped us all know who the leaders of Elsevier were. I appreciate seeing them as people and not overlords.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It's flexible about working (since we can work from home), there are lots of events to get to know others in Elsevier, and there is a lot of support beyond work - there's MindLife, Connect to Communicate, Psychological Safety - support you don't associate with work.
