Excellent experience. The only negative has been salary. 3 times I have been due for a significant pay increase and salary freezes have been introduced. I have never had a pay-rise outside of the annual increase that I didn't have to push for. HR are not actively pushing Compa-ratio corrections.

Been here 18 years - chose Elsevier because it was a positive contributor to society. Found that the people that work here have a communal ethos around helping our customers make the world a better place. With a goal like that our team can't help but be supportive of one another.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Lack of transparency of compa ratio and which job titles are included/excluded. Personal pension contribution means take home pay is now just 55% of salary, and not growing in line with inflation. I am genuinely close to taking a 2nd job.
