its a great place to work where ideas are welcomed & a very psychologically safe environment. The management is very approachable. Only downside is the way promotions & salary slabs are not managed. The general perception is that this area is not looked into enough although we have heard a lot by HR

The work atmosphere is very welcoming & friendly. This is the first company that I actually look forward to Mondays

Everyone is respected irrespective of their race, gender or political preferences. There are also ample sensitization webinars to promote psychological safety.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The HR needs to review its policies on compensations for promotions and IJTs especially in Q1s. They arnt aligned with business

They are very approachable. Most if not all of us are comfortable interacting with them directly. they always listen to our opinions & provide rationale whenever they dont take our ideas

They are always willing to listen to their employees no matter at what level they are at. Not once in my 12 year career with ELS have i had trouble reaching out to anybody.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The compensation packages needs looking into. Known of verified cases where people were told their salaries were within range but have received market correction hikes that bring them into pay range which contradicts what was told earlier.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

People around are generally positive & supportive. There is a lot of interaction & the social construct is very good. you hardly feel like you are going into work but more like going in to meet & collaborate with friends

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Review HR policies on rewards and compensation especially during the jan- mar period where employees are not eligible for merit increase if they are promoted or get through an interview for a level up. Both these mist be treated differently and not as one

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

There needs to be transparency in compensations as I do not know if I am being paid fairly. I feel I am being underpaid is because of my candid conversations in my peer level network re our compensations. Pay ranges at job level should be transparent
