the overall experience has been good. However, as a non-German speaking person in Munich office, I feel the Munich office culture is not international. All communication is in German. This is in contrast to Springer Nature office in Berlin that was more progressive and communicated in English.

learning new things each day, with each manuscript I read!

as of now, I have just one member in my team so not much to say.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The area of my work which is clinical and public health- gives me the most satisfaction.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
What I like about the leadership team is that they are approachable and they seem to care about their people. This is in contrast to my previous employer.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
1. salary is reflective of how much your company values you/your position. As an EiC of a lancet journal in Munich (with high cost of living), I am convinced that my salary should be higher. 2. I would feel more valued if ABP titles are treated equally as other TLx titles at the Lancet.
