
it is a very inclusive culture. I see it internally with various programs and initiatives, such as the Developing Talent for Gender Equity Program. I also see this with our customers, where we now have a gender neutral name policy for authors. This stuff goes a long way in making employees feel safe
I feel as though my experience in academia is relevant and actually sets me a part from other employees who have corporate experience. I like that my work is still deeply connected to the scholarly landscape and academia. I feel that I could transition back to academia at any time with open arms
Like many people might say, Kumsal stepping in as CEO was a breath of fresh air. I can see Elsevier's culture truly changing to be more inclusive and responsive, which has been incredible during COVID. I have never had to worry about my career or job, which not many can say during these times.
Coming from a previous career in Academia, I feel as though I am finally valued for my insights, my experience, and my charisma. The compensation packages allow you to earn more if you choose to work hard, which I also like. To be able to go above quota if you are an over-achiever is amazing
