Culture of immediacy and fractured time. Weekly one on one feedback = weekly beat down from director. 12-14 hour days. Unlimited DTO is useless when you can't take time off. Pay not keeping pace with inflation & you can't afford the commute & end up in office just to be on zoom all day.

They seem to have a vision and be moving us in that direction. I can see the impact that my work has on the decisions being made.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The lip service paid to having a good culture and environment. The reality is that we work too much and don't get paid enough to do it.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is comprised of a group of people that use their grit and fantastic wit to get the job done and interact in a positive manner even through tremendous adversity.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our merit increase once a year is way to low to keep up with inflation. If I leave and take a job at the same level doing the same work, I will get a salary increase of 10-20%, but if I stay, I will be lucky to get a 3-4% increase later in the year. My rent increase is actually 6% of my salary.
