
They don't make promises they don't intend to keep. Every change I've seen has always come with additional follow-through to make any new change work to the best of our ability.
There is constantly work being done to better inclusivity in the workplace. Opportunities to grow as a company come with opportunities to grow personally on a regular basis, it's very good to watch and be a part of.
Even though we are all about the business and making things work, we take time to connect personally with each other as well. Check-ins from my manager are consistent and concerns are addressed swiftly by her. IT's also nice to see she feels comfortable voicing any concerns to us as well
The fact that I have to do a job for the better part of a year before I get the updated title and compensation for doing that job is problematic. As I level up my skills and take on more important pieces of the business, my compensation should reflect it in a timely manner.
My core team, we've worked really hard to be there for each other professionally, but we are also quick to pull the load off each other when it's clear someone needs a break. Checking in on each other and our workloads makes it a lot easier to share the weight without feeling like you're not enough
