I have learned a lot but the majority of the work has been self taught w/ very flawed process and procedure documentation. Have had very clear explanations of reading reports and understanding the content of them from people in other departments.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
They need to learn basic communication skills and how to work as a team instead of as an individual and tossing them under the bus when things are incorrect.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive about the culture is the ability to go to other departments and learning their functions so you evaluate if you will work better in that area.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There have been employees hired with less years of experience and less value as it pertains to their position but are paid more. They are obviously of the majority ethnicity.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Learn the strengths and weakness of their employees utilize them in those areas. Not just hire someone that is young or white, but hire those that know the job functionalities and pay them adequately!!!
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Stop looking over individuals for promotions in their department while hiring someone from outside the company to work in the area the person specializes in. And stop lying and saying the money isn't in the budget but management consistently hiring others and paying more!
