I joined the company at a more junior level than I was qualified for just so I could get in. I am finding it challenging to move up and get promoted, but there seems to be a plan in place. The benefits make my lower salary worth while.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
After a year with the company and executing a role beyond my position I feel that I should have received a promotion or a clearer explanation of the plan for me. I will say that my director did fight for a slight adjustment in my salary after 6 months and that was greatly appreciated.
