There is a disconnect between management, departments, and employees. Too much head butting and blaming.

Do not have clear expectations of job duties. Communication avenues are poor. Coworkers not responsive to requests/needs.

Poorly written job description. The company has no idea what is required to do my job; talent, experience, education.

Am often frustrated at how long it takes to get something done, get a response to a request, or someone not doing their job.

Stabilize pay rates, understand the value of all employees. Some hourly wage employees are offered an incentive at different levels. Some are not offered an incentive at all.

Am not paid appropriately for my job responsibilities and skills. HR and management are clueless as to what it takes (experience and education) to perform my job.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Employees are people, not disposable items. Provide training for management and supervisors. Just because somebody has been with the company does not qualify them to be a supervisor.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The company has no idea what my qualifications are, what I am capable of, and what is required to do my job, and I have limited support for my efforts.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I am an "in between" employee. Paid hourly, yet considered salaried (paid every two weeks). This makes me ineligible for incentive pay, yet I do not have the flexibility to work alternate days/hours.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Too much misdirection of work efforts. Many people are pulled in too many directions and do not respond to requests. They have other priorities that hinder their assistance and abilities. Employees are stretched too thin, asked to do too much.
