Respecting the people that have been here many years. They are the ones training all the new employees that the company is catering to.

My job is a cross functional position that has to know Engineering and Manufacturing Eng, Both of which are paid at a higher scale. Also everything in my department.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Additional vacation time for long term employs. Pay more attention to what the employee does and compensate them for the job they do instead of just looking at them as the position they hold.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The company is putting more attention on getting new employees than rewarding the long the employees. It is these people you rely on to train the new hires that are making almost the same as some long term people.
