Hoshizaki is a great company. Upper management just needs to get a grip on things instead of throwing things at the wall and seeing what sticks. And then once a plan is made and put out, stick to it. Quit changing things so much especially at the last minute
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Everytime wages are brought up in meetings upper management tries to avoid it by bringing up incentives. Incentives are exactly what they are, not wages. Incentives should not be factored into wage. Other companies are paying higher wages around hoshizaki
What makes you most happy at work?
I take pride in my work. If I take pride then I will produce a better end product. The better my product is, the better the company will be. If the company grows then I will to. I just wish the company would invest in me like I do the company
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Lately hoshizaki has been hiring anyone with a heartbeat. I know that hiring is a struggle for anyone right now however standards should still be adhered to. Then, once these people are hired they don't care, don't show up, show up late, produce poor quality and no one holds them accountable.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
As I stated people need to be help accountable. No reward for good work ethic and no punishment for bad work ethic leads to no motivation. There are other people like myself that want to do the right thing and make a good product but there's no incentive to do so
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
It seems as if upper management is scared to make a decision. Then, when they do make a decision and it ends up being a poor choice they refuse to own it. At employee meetings upper management avoids issues that employees bring up. They feed us lies to keep us happy, but we see right through it.
