At GFN the most positive about the culture and environment is the united front everyone takes when trying to accomplish a goal.

The best things about my team are their willingness to get the job done no matter what it takes. I really enjoy the people.

We used to be able to do alot with each other and our teams. Not much since last year. It is challenging to keep teams positive.

My team is dedicated to ensuring all team members have a place where they are free to be open and collaborate without worry of retaliation or blowback.

Little to no acknowledgement of efforts from management or executive leadership regarding manufacturing efforts. All promotion announcements for the past year seems to be primarily sales personnel.

The best part of my team is that we are a team and work together to achieve expectations and goals. We support each other and help develop each other.

The leadership team is dedicated to addressing constraints and obstacles to allow my team and I to continue to grow. My direct leadership is also very dedicated to my growth and development.

Having clear understanding of my priorities and being set up for success, allowing my contributions to drive my success or failure, rather than being set up to fail right of the starting line.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Make the company the "best place to work" for not just associates, but leadership as well. Get organized and clearly communicate priorities from an executive level without shifting or back tracking daily.

My direct leadership team is very engaged in the growth and development of team members. He is a leader versus a boss and does a great job on coaching and re-directing our efforts as a team.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The companies approach on taking care of team members. I truly value my team and appreciate working for a company that sees them as team members versus just another number. I would say mid management could use an injection of positivity.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We are unable to maintain a consistent production schedule due to constant changes, leading to part shortages throughout the week, resulting in overtime hours, just to come in the next week and not have parts on hand to run again. Rince and repeat.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

The leadership team can improve on motivating their teams rather than beat them down managing through pressure and intimidation. They can also improve on the overall pay and promotions. In 2025 so far, the only people promoted in GFN reported to someone out of PTC. No one in GFN got promoted 2025.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I would feel better about my compensation if it was comparable to those who I share the same responsibilities within the PTC location. Being told by previous and existing HR that PTC leadership is paid more due to it being HC and the cost of living in PTC is higher... Only explanations provided.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

I do not look forward to coming to work every day. Each day brings a new set of challenges with such little support. Challenge occurs and when seeking support you are met with "Whats your plan?" I need help, this is why I am coming for support, but not often met with help or support to find resoluti
