Good so far! I do wish I'd get feedback more often since I am still pretty new to the industry and workforce. But I like working here, i definitely see myself here for a long run because of my team and the kind of work I do.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
It was great until this year. Work from office every day really impacts my life negatively and I now spend a lot more money and time. I have a commute of 1.5 hours one way and thats a lot of time wasted. Company does not seem to care. Roads can also be so unsafe but it doesnt matter to them

Compensation needs to increase a bit as job duties increase too.

I feel like Im doing more than my JD. Need to be compensated fairly.

Kind, Caring, Good listeners, fun and overall just good people. Very ambitious and lot to learn from them
What makes you most happy at work?
I feel incredibly safe where I work, not just physically but mentally too. I feel included all the time and that makes me feel like what I do is valued. This is a great feeling that not all workplaces provide.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Merit increase does not even cross annual inflation rate. You also dont get both even though you should. Compulsory 5 days in office even though more work was getting done from home. So much car expense for no reason. Leadership should take this into consideration.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Freedom to work from home a few days every week. I was getting more done at home and wasnt spending so much money on gas and car expenses. This is a big expense and Hoshizaki also does not give great compensation. This feels like a paycut. I spend 3 hours on commute every single day.
