In the beginning I thought that great things were possible. As I learned more about the culture and its micro-management style of getting things done I see that making a difference is sometimes very difficult if not impossible. Upper management are not at all open to different points of view.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The health benefits are excellent.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Transparency and communication could use some work. We often get conflicting information depending on who you are speaking with.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone seems to want to do a good job. However there is a lot of blame shifting and finger pointing that is counter-productive.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Not really sure there is a most positive aspect. Many of the people have positive attitudes but daily changes in direction make it difficult to remain positive.
What makes you most happy at work?
Autonomy, although it is rare. When it happens it makes me feel like I am contributing something to the company rather than just being a cog in a machine.
