My team so far is great. Great leadership, teammates, and culture. However, I see aspects of the company outside the engineering workforce and I see that the culture they experience is very different from mine.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The relaxed work culture of the engineering teams.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team has good dynamic, open to feedback, and always willing to help. There is emphasis on the people over the tasks.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The health related perks are amazing; coverage for check ups and medication. Extending to family members as well. It takes off pressure from the employees who are supporting their loved ones.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Ringcentral is also a tech company, therefore the culture should also reflect that. As it is, the culture in the philippines (excluding the engineering teams) is very BPO (call center agency feels).
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There is much focus on the people over the tasks. They know that if the people are taken care of and appreciated, the employees are more willing to put in the effort to meet team and company goals.
