I enjoy working at Ringcentral because I like my colleagues and I have a good work/life balance. I still have some exciting quarters though some tasks I do are very repetitive and boring, It's been a while I didn't see a very exciting project with some interesting challenge I could work on.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are nice people that want to make things works and deliver fast.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Base pay is a bit low compare to what I'm being offered in other company. Gross pay catch up a little bit though stock market is getting so low.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
- Production first. No downtime, production ready code ... - Refrain to add useless features that won't be really used by customers but will have to be maintained by engineers.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
- I have a lot of boring task because some people don't want to investigate time in scripting and automation so we end up with more manual tasks. - There is a lot of time wasted in Jira ticket, CMRs ...
