Positive from day one. Never have I transitioned into a company and been able to make an impact, help my team and feel part of the team, as quickly as I have at RingCentral.
What makes you most happy at work?
This is very specific to me, but not being in sales anymore, and having made the move from the industry I was in, to UCaaS.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There is a continual flow of communication which is reassuring. I like the diverse mix of international backgrounds - this is not a US company, but a global company!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
That I do not have to accept my MBO bonus in shares - I was worried when the announcement first came out, but reassured now that I can continue to receive my MBO bonus in cash.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Again, the mixture! We have some tech gurus, some adult-learning experts, some industry vets, some with much less experience and the combination makes for enriching conversations and genuine progress. The majority have a fantastic work ethic too!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The positivity which I think stems not only from concerted efforts to engender and develop the right culture, but inherently from being at the forefront of in the industry we're in. It's nice to be top of the pile in any industry, but to be top of the pile in the top industry, well, ain't bad too!
