Overall Informatica is a good place to work. This company is sales focused which is fine, but there is scalability issue. As the company grows support divisions need to grow equally to maintain the same service levels. At times this does not seem to be considered and work can be overwhelming at time
What makes you most happy at work?
My team being satisfied and internal/external customers being happy with their products we produce.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Informatica does a good job separating work life balance with the ability to take vacation or sick time and allows you to voice your opinion with mostly no judgement.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is data focused and collaborates well. We are truly cross functional, and from that perspective feel that we can be an example to others of how to work together.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Working with others in different business units is a definite plus. This helps me and my team to understand the organization better and to realize that most have the same challenges as we do.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I joined INFA in 2019 and have contributed to and led the revamp of its business continuity program. I manage both operations and develop strategy for BCDR, ITDR, Crisis Management and Physical Security Governance. I believe the scope of programs I manage is not representative of my title.
