My co-workers are great, my boss doesn't really stick up for me for being so new, and my VP has complained for not doing what they assume and don't communicate since my second week at job.
What are some of the best things about your team?
All my co-workers have been extremely friendly and helpful. We all get along well.
What makes you most happy at work?
Not interacting with my VP. I have great weeks when I don't talk to them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The pay is below average compared to the national average. The insurance could be better.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The C-suite does a great job. The Vice Presidents however are the exact opposite. Mine is a narcissistic tyrant that's on a power trip and has the entire department afraid. He needs to be retrained as a people manager as he complains about minute things that have had no impact.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Again, my coworkers are great! They make this job a lot easier in many many ways. The culture that my VP is cultivating is absolutely terrible as they need to have a vice grip on everything and get details they shouldn't be bothered with as they should trust their employees to get the job done well.
