The opportunity to earn over my OTE based on performance factors as well as the stock options.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are transparent and consistent with the goals and methodology of the Company. If something is not working, they are not afraid to roll it back and admit they made a mistake.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our OTEs are about 20% below what I hear (firsthand) is out there. I will say that our variable compensation is generous, but overall the pay is on the low side compared to other software vendors out there.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Transitioning customers to USM and pausing true ups has made for an extremely difficult past few months. Furthermore, splitting Enterprise and Commercial how they did has left Commercial in the dust. We feel like second class citizens, not being able to use our PSSM team, etc.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Enrolling employees on the front lines in business-critical decisions. USM for example, was rolled out way too quickly and the pause in true-ups was done without considering how that could affect employees. Half of my team is looking for a job right now because they can't make money.
