I love Smartsheet, I'm so glad I decided to join. One thing I'll say is our PTO is remarkably stingy for a knowledge-worker company. 15 days is kind of a joke in this area, and is a big benefits-gap and will eventually (2-3 years) become a retention issue for me.

Extreme competence. Opinion on how products should be made.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to do what I need to do to get my job done with little micro management or oversight. Trust.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our engineers are very supportive and helpful and mostly without ego. Design / PMM super helpful - I really love my team.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Strong opinion on product development, values UX research and extremely customer focused - I don't need to argue for why we need to test ideas before shipping.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The pay is pretty decent at Smartsheet, it's higher at the FAAMG companies and the benefits are better at those companies but Smartsheet provides an unparalleled opportunity to learn. Eventually compensation is going to have to creep up for me for retention purposes but not immediately.
