They are caring, warm, and hilarious. They're pretty smart, too, which challenges me to be better at my job.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
That I'm cared about as a human and not seen as a cog in a machine. My well-being is a priority over the company's bottom line.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I took a significant pay cut (more than $10k) for this role because I really want to be here, but now I'm worried I may never (or it will take significant time) for my to reach my previous income level.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Many of them are visible and active on Workplace, which creates a perception that they are available and informative. It also sets the example for the rest of us that taking time out of our workday to connect over Workplace and other apps is acceptable.
