Liked the promise of values, work/life balance, potential for growth. Instead, very stressful and overwhelming, zero time to even thing about growth, work/life balance. I like the company, my job, & my team, and have hope but the promise of it getting better is dragging out and creating doubt.
Frequent updates, transparency, the values outside the dollar
The culture is inclusive and supportive.
Support! My team is the epitome of team players!
Working together towards common goals.
Aside from the low pay, I like it all!
Being able to deliver on time and always learning new things.
They are transparent (or at least appear to be) and seem to care about the employees.
We are support each other, have similar work ethic, and care for symplr and the customers.
That leadership is always trying to find the "extras" for the employees, not just the basics (health, dental, etc).
Working as a team is truly what they believe, being supportive to all and doing what's best for the company.
I like what I do, I love my team, and I'm doing things that contribute indirectly to the benefit of patients.
There is way too much pressure and stress. I like my work, there is just too much of it for one person.
Everyone on my team takes the symplr goals very seriously and works as-if they own the company. The integrity, care, and skill is sky-high.
The inclusivity and integrity of most of the staff I've interacted with are really admirable. I like my job, my team, and the company.
My team is always trying to do whatever they can to support each other and do what's ultimately best for the company as a whole.
I have a job, that's the biggest thing. But also I don't feel like..."ugh, this toxic environment, these horrible boring challenges where I have no support."
I actually like what I do, who I do it with, the company we do it for, and that I feel like it's for a good cause.
Transparency, they try to be just one of us, and they do their best to keep our needs in view while still working to make the company successful.
They seem to care about the balance between making the hard business decisions that are best for the company and always trying to do whats best for the employees.
They try to keep constant contact with everyone in the company via very regular all-company meetings. They are constantly coming up with ways to do more for the employees.
My manager is always advocating for me to make more money, and I so appreciate that, but my salary is well below what I am worth and the liveable wage for my area.
For the most part, everyone is truly working towards making symplr the best it can be because that's what benefits us all. And part of doing that is putting the people first; happy employees = successful company.
The leadership team seems to want to always be involved, to always want to work towards what's best for all. It's not always perfect, that's not possible, but it's the effort that feels good and makes me want to also keep trying.
A national company cannot make salaries equal across the Country; living expenses are not equal. This needs to be addressed. Also, those of us on tiny teams killing ourselves to help keep the company afloat & customers ultimately happy should be compensated for that effort, in some way.
I feel in a company where employees can work from anywhere the compensation has to take into consideration the cost of living for the employee. Also when employees are working 15 hours days regularly to help meet numbers, and it's become the norm and expected, regular compensation is not sufficient.
My team has the strongest work ethic of any team I've ever worked with, anywhere. They go way above and beyond, everyday, to do the very best job possible. Their integrity and teamwork has them sacrificing themselves (family, free time, etc.) rather than doing something half-ass or miss a deadline.
It's a challenge for a 100% remote company to compensate each person according to their living expenses and therefore I am underpaid for the area where I live. Additionally, our team is understaffed, so I work extra hours too often. I love everything else about my job, but it's enough to leave.
I feel like a global company should focus a bit more on paying their employees for where they live and not focus all on paying everyone the same (who does the same). Plus there is a lot of pressure to meet deadlines/goals so many hours of work so $ should match the 10-12 hour days often needed.
