Company work is fast-paced. Current challenges around removing cyber security shortfalls are challenging and concerning, but the team seems to be prepared to address it. Working from home has been a successful endeavor, IMO, and I think this makes the company an attractive option
The job is difficult. Challenges exist every day, and they are sometimes almost insurmountable. But, the camaraderie of the teams I work with make these challenges surmountable most of the time. Very rewarding.
Open, honest communication (the good and the bad)
Openness in Q&A meetings and All Hands meetings
Permissive PTO, work from home, 401K
401K matching, HSA and insurance package.
Being able to work from home
Accomplishing something new while keeping up with existing plate.
Not sure if it's compensation, but work-from-home. That's an immeasurable benefit.
Kindness to others. Hostility is not allowed. No abrasive boss/coworker relationships!
Having success in completing priorities on time, and having successful deployments
Successful project completion. Some projects are long-term. When we reach the goal on time, it's very satisfying.
Most of my teammates are driven, and attempt to make our company successful. Those that pull their weight are great.
Corroboration on items that are cross team could be more difficult to handle, but cooperation and team work make this better.
Collaboration. Even working remotely, most employees are ALWAYS available during work hours. Dependable access to key players is invaluable and appreciated.
Transparency. Bad news or good news, don't sugar coat it. Honest open discussion of bad times and good times helps increase our trust of leadership.
Lack of drama around any HR-related protected groups. I mean Sex, Race, Religion, etc. never come up in day-to-day relationships. It's a comfortable work environment in that way.
