Human beings thrive on recognition, a fact that symplr understands well. There are so many opportunities to be recognized for the hard work we do every day.

I most appreciate the support we receive from our leadership. We have access to the tools needed to do our job and receive support in everything we do.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our ELT is transparent in all aspects of the business. They communicate with the company regularly, providing information that is pertinent to the day-to-day. I appreciate their approach to leading the symplr team.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am in a senior position and receiving less compensation than those in junior positions for the same role. I recognize the economic challenges, but more attention should be paid to this issue.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a product manager with 15 years of experience, my salary is approximately 15% less than the national average. With my experience, I should be at least at the national average, if not more.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The ELT thinks they are being transparent, but they are not. Recently, an entire dev team was transitioned from US resources to India resources. Only the Engineering team was notified. There is no reason to hide this information from the company.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I believe our team is the best of the best! We have amazing communication, work well together, and genuinely like one another. We have a lot of varied personalities but appreciate what each person brings to the team. Working with this team has carried me through many tough days!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I joined symplr as part of an acquisition, coming from a company where we were paid far below the national average for our positions. symplr is working to bring us up to national and company averages, but we are not there yet. I would like to see better communication related to the plan.
