Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

I feel like working for Symplr from the Netherlands is a very different experience than working for Symplr from the US. My experience is that the company culture and the team are great. However the pay, perks and benefits are horrendous and nobody seems willing to actually do something about that.

What makes you most happy at work?

My work and my colleagues.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

It's a very fast and forward moving company and you've got some influence there.

What makes you most happy at work?

There are a lot of challenges that i look forward to solving with my peers.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They certainly are transparent in a lot of things that most leadership in other companies isn't.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Here in the Netherlands we're pretty straight forward with eachother. There's a no nonsense mentality that's very practical and result driven.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Currently the pay is very low compared to market. Also, i work in the Netherlands and we have zero perks or benefits.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Not much. I like their banter during the all-hands, makes it seem they'd be fun to hang around with with a drink, but that's about it.

What are some of the best things about your team?

There is a 4-man technical team here that's been together for well over a decade. It's what keeps us here. We're a family trying to put together the best possible product we can. It's amazing and very under appreciated.

What are some of the best things about your team?

I work in "two" teams at the moment. The DevOps team (who's great and i enjoy my interactions there) and the TPSC engineering team whom i've worked with for a long time and consider more family or friends at this point.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

To be frank, Symplr does not seem care much about dutch employees. They show very little interest. Staff are consistently underpaid, even though this has been discussed, and we do not get any of the benefits and/or bonuses that overseas employees do get. We actually have no benefits and no bonus.
