
RIFS, RIFS, and nothing but RIFS. When I first came to the company I couldn't believe that I saw three RIFs in my short time of being there. And there are more on the way as the CEO announced in an Ask Me Anything session. symplr needs to improve this part of the culture.

The fact that we get some peer recognition. I wish there were some small rewards for improvement or hard work.
When my coworkers are kind, they are great. When something sets them off, it feels a bit hostile at times. Especially recently.

Clear communication of needs. Compensation that matches the level of effort being placed since our global resources are not capable of doing their jobs well.
When changes are made to the benefits package, symplr under communicates the change, especially when a benefit is being taken away. Other times, they are great and heavily communicative.

When I come in I'm overwhelmed with 10+ messages from our global resources who are stuck and won't continue until they have clarity on a project. A culture of RFs is never good for morale or keeping great employees.
Knowing how to do their job, and being fun to be around. A lot of them are scared. They've seen RIF after RIF after RIF. And this creates an environment of scarcity where talent doesn't want to stay. I've declined other responsibilities or potential moves because that team has been heavily targeted
